When’s the last time you committed your time to getting better?

Last week, I re-learned an important lesson about #leadership & making time to grow.

I get it… It’s easy to lose yourself in the day-to-day — customers, #sales, team #management… I know because I run a company, too.

(BTW… If you want to learn this week, I’m running a Live Sales Q&A: https://lnkd.in/ggmAeVP — or comment *LIVE* below & I’ll send you the details…)

I’m part of a Mastermind group that meets 3x/year. Last week, we met for 4 hours/day for 3 days. To make it happen, I did three things –

1/ Communicate — Tell your team WHY you’re unavailable.

Family, too. “I’ve gotta work…” isn’t enough. Share why. For me, that meant mapping out a schedule with my wife & explaining to my son how he could help.

2/ Focus — Multitasking is bull$hit. If you’re going to make the time, be present to make the most from it.
We have a mantra with clients –

“Focus on Now now; worry about Later later.”

3/ Action — Ideas are only ideas. Your entire company started with just an idea. You won’t know which ideas are good until you put those ideas into action.

Implementing = Learning

Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. Either way, you’re ahead of where you were before.
